Brothers of the Son
This six piece band embodies the spirit and emotion of Southern Rock, Colorado
Style.
What is
Southern Rock, Colorado Style? It’s a Western invention. We think it is
the mixing of classic Southern Rock attitude with the unbridled ethic of the
Colorado music scene as viewed through the eyes of a bunch of Colorado boys (and
girl!) that have played together for thirty years.
We strongly identify with the roots of real Country, Rock and Blues.
Influences such as
Lynyrd Skynyrd and
Allman Brothers drive the twin guitars, keys
and a rockin’ rhythm section to set the stage for strong vocals. Interludes of
acoustic 12 string and country rock ballads round out a really special band.

Thunder
in the Rockies(9/4-5/2009)
We were proud to be included in this year’s Thunder in the Rockies
events from September 4th through 7th with great bands
such as Foreigner and Montgomery Gentry. We will be playing at the amphitheater
on Friday September 4th from 7:00 pm until 10:15, and at the Ranch
Main stage outside the Budweiser Events Center on Saturday September 5th
from 12:00 noon until 2:15 pm. Please come out and enjoy the festivities

to American Veterans Rally ( Winter Park ,CO 8/15/2009)
We can play because they have paid…..It was an honor to be featured
for this event and we hope to see all of you there in 2010 to honor our
veterans! It was a beautiful day and an inspirational experience for all the
Brothers.

It was a great evening especially because the Brothers were able to
save the event by using the power of music to divert the rain/hail clouds away
from Lutz Field! Ok, maybe we had
some help from above!
It was an energetic show that was appreciated by the Brothers
